About Me

Hi! A little about me:
Why Sewing Seeds?
My name is Sara Hanna. Thank you for joining me in one of the hardest, most humbling, and exciting decisions I have ever made- blogging. For several years, the thought of being intentional to “sewing seeds” as we’ve traveled through life has been in the forefront of my mind. I’ve connected “sewing seeds” to making a difference in all circumstances. Think of it as planting the love of Jesus in the lives of those you come in contact with. With each blog, my hope is that you will gain inspiration to impact and pour into others in a mighty way for the kingdom of Christ. Whether you are single, married, a mother, a care-giver, a student, employed or a keeper of your home, we are all called to be ambassadors for Christ, to pour into those who God places in our paths.
I am a Christian, wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister/ friend, nurse, student, and teacher. Of all of the words that I would use to describe myself, being a Christian is the most important. While it can be hard at times, Christ fulfills every single ounce of who I am. Matthew 16:24 tells us that we must forsake all, take up our cross and follow Him. Since Christ is primary in my life, my goal is to represent Him and share Him in all of the other areas that describe me. Pouring into others gives my life purpose, and encourages me to branch out and trust as God leads me and increases my field of service for Him.
Christ has allowed me to serve as SS teacher, mentor, speaker, conference coordinator, women's ministry director, witness to others in my nursing capacity and so much more. One of my daily prayers is that God would fill me up so that I can pour out into others. Many women have blessed me by sewing seeds into my life, and my prayer is that as I share thoughts, devotions, stories and much more, you will be blessed as well. Sweet sister, there is so much that we can learn from each other. I hope you will find this journey with me to be encouraging, fun, and at times convicting and challenging.
There are times in my life (as I’m sure in yours) that seem so overwhelming but as we learn from others, walk through life with Christian sisters, and share our experiences looking to Christ, our battles and trials are much more bearable. One of my prayers for each of you is that something will not only speak to you personally but will inspire you as you journey through life impacting others for Christ. Sweet friend, Christ has “set before us an open door that no man can shut”. He would love for as Jabez did in 1 Chronicles 4:10, “Oh that you would bless me and enlarge my border”. May we all pray that God would use us in a mighty way as we submit our lives to His service sewing seeds of His love into those He brings you in contact with. That is my passion and dream for this life and I hope it is or will become yours.
I leave you with a few verses to meditate on: 1 John 5:14; 1 Corinthians 3:5-9; Mark 4:26-29
